Trailblazer Award

Carondelet educates young women in the spirit of excellence and innovation that characterizes our founding Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. This scholarship honors students who approach challenges with courage, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference. Applicants should share how they’ve tackled a complex problem, led a project, or found a new way to serve others demonstrating resilience, innovative thinking, and/or leadership in action.
Requirements:
1. Completed admission application on file.

2. Complete award application by February 9.

3. Proof of qualifying project through video, illustration, photographs, display boards, etc. via a private youtube or Google Drive link. This link needs to be prepared before starting the application, as you will not be able to save your work.

4. One letter of recommendation (including contact information) that demonstrate concrete ways in which the applicant has shown innovation and the ability to collaboratively lead and design solutions are required for this application. Recommendation Letters must be emailed as an attachment in PDF format. Recommendation letters cannot come from family members. Recommendation letters should be emailed directly from the recommender to admissions@carondeleths.org, or can be mailed to Carondelet High School attn: Admissions. Letters must be received by no later than February 9.

Evidence of Accomplishments: Please submit evidence that best demonstrates your ability to innovate, lead collaboratively, and/or design-think via a youtube or Google Drive link or by uploading images below. Please remember that the evidence should specifically demonstrate your talents (not prove that you participated) in each area. If you are submitting video or photographic footage of groups, please make sure to specifically identify the applicant. Award selection is weighted heavily on the evidence that each applicant provides, as it most concretely demonstrates their talents and abilities.
